down loaded and installed 1.4,kinda nice to have a seperate shortcut,, , went through the useuall set up problems with the sound config,use to it , but found a problem, the monitor volume is not being controlled by the software , can not lower or raise the volume level in the headphones it stay at a constant volume,(my set up is basic ) same set up worked in 1.32, not shure what has changed
also need info on keyboard mapping briefly looked at it,thanks for the better Cross fade speed and control, didnt figure out how to access to alter keyboard commands, but will get into that shortly

How did you control the volume in 1.3.2? Maybe there are just other keys for the volume controls?

know i was not to clear, the regular headphone volume knob/pot, dose not affect the volume of the music ,it visualy functions ,but doesnt affect the level playing in the headphone,(i am talking about the cue vol nob next to the main vol nob)[ which functions as it should] have not tried to control it by keyboard mapping yet. my set up has no external controls ,ie MIDI,TT ,CDj, mixer.just use the software controls.

Yes verfied the settings/audio config between cross1.32 and 1.40 the volume for the monitor appears to function but makes no change in volume output if this is verfied and put down as a bug,could the dev team take a suggestion and try to format/re config to the way it was set up in 1.25 that set up had a little bit more options and could when used with asio 4all, handle a installed 7.1 surround sc and the usb sound doggle supplied with home, for monitor still envisioning having Cross on a laptop,using asio4all and just having a usb sc to monitor with,fits more to the definition of simple and stand alone setup with the new key board mapping that should help out,less mousing around

(indeed it was working while we was mapping those 30 MIDI controlers)

hated to be right this time , like the update will have more questions later need a little bit of info on other aspect of the program i e key board mapping,setting up the automatic gain is the thought process of setting up the audio config back to 1.25 a possibility

In fact it is broken with the mouse, not in MIDI or keyboard.

Concerning the audio routing of the 1.2.5 it is not near to be done I'm sorry.

any info on setting the key board up to control the headphone volume,briefly looked into the keyboard mapping senerio and need info as how to set it up,, would use the numeric #8 /Arow up and also the numeric #2 / arrow down, if possible to control the action of the headphone volume,,,,any other solution avaible by the mv dev team would help also,, cant hear the music for the loudness out of the headphones

happy to play around got a chance to experminent with the keyboard mapping,, had no idea what the settings were susposed to be ,but got control of monitor volume with the two keys i mentioned in the previous posting guess i have to make up the rest of the mapping any way to find the presetes for the already mapped keystroke functions , kinda wanna still use the Cross fade , also the scroll up/down, also the monitor a/b buttons are the preset in the view ,when you go to map already mapped functions (mapping is much better than in home 7,, kinda gave up on the brain teaser0
