No "mutated vowl" (German ÄÖÜ) or accents (é) in CrossDJ?

Dear Support Team,
I recently recognized, that Cross DJ (1.3.2) installed on a MacBook Pro (SnowLeopard) is not able to find music files (mp3 or aac etc.) stored in folders containing a mutated vowl (ÄÖÜ) or an accented letter (é) in its name like 'Motörhead' or 'Café del mar' or when the file name contains such letters. This often happens in German 'Schlager' music as the interprets or the titles are named with these letters.
The 'Collection' in Cross only show a red colored path with a yellow triangle "Warning" sign before it, but is not able to open/play the song.
Any issue for an update?
Most German DJ's will have playlists with "Schlager" songs or Chill-playlists with "Café del mar" songs.
Keen on an answer and with regards
