External ION Discover DJ lights up but won't work

I recently got a new laptop. My old laptop had Vista and Discover DJ worked perfectly. I installed Cross-Discover DJ on the new laptop which runs Windows 7. The software works but the external board doesn't work. It lights up so there is power going to it. No fading, scratching, pitch or volume control. What can I do to get it to work?

same problem im haveing all lit up and even seen it install the drivers but nothing working.
anyone know of a way to fix?

Try restarting your computer. i had the same problem and a simple restart after the installation worked. The lights turned off and everything worked when i opend up the program. hope this helped!
