Recording Issues (does not record together)

Hey all,
When trying to record my mixes on Mixvibes Cross through an external mixer, I am left with three separate tracks: One of deck A and One of deck B. The third is supposedly the master mix, but all I get is silence.
I pressed the Record Master Mix button but it's not recording any music--just silence.

What am I doing incorrectly?

Thanks!

You can't record sounds processed outside the application, it only work in internal.
You need to route an output of your mixer to an input of your computer and record with an other software while playing.

I see. Well that's inconvenient...
Hopefully Mixvibes will come out with a feature in the future that can record through an external mixer. That's how most people mix, don't they?

Thanks for the help!

It is impossible to do this :
you need to know the action done on the mixer, only a MIDI mixer can tell a software what it is doing.

With an external analog mixer you're processing audio not data.

If you own an audio interface with more than two stereo inputs you are able to record your mix. Just plug the master out of you mixer into an input and you can record the sound programmes like audacity.

Greetings,

Steve
