MIXVIBES Dj Community old forum

Hello,

I need a help for my friend, who bought Mixvibes U-Mix Control and has a MacBook with OSX 10.6. He is not a DJ, he wants to use it just for fun to get songs from his iTunes library, scratch, effect and mix them together. On the web where he bought it they claimed that it is Mac compatible. After unboxing, there is nothing, what you can do with it on Mac.
On the box there is statement, that "PC SW included. Mac version available at discount price: http://www.mixvibes.com".
- I dont see any discount for Mac users (that pay same price for the device and get no software at all)
- what software does he need, Cross DJ, Cross Pack??
- when I go to downloads.php, I cannot Dl anything - "You have left 0 B traffic this month." Whats that?
- is there a Mac version of "3DEX U-Mix Control Edition DJ software"?
And - no, He does not plan to instal Windows just to make this device work.

The webmaster simply forgot to add this product (Mac U-Mix at discount price) to the webshop. It should be solve before the end of the week, sorry for the missing link.

the software you'll need is Cross DJ...

Could anybody advise me how to contact Mixvibes support? No answer at email, no more answers here at forum, no help with PM....

There will be a specioal 10e offer for all U-Mix Control licence holders. Cross DJ LE will be available on the website by next week.

Please note that you need to purchase a powered USB hub to power up your U-Mix controller on a mac because the USB ports aren't powerful enough.

I hope you get up and mixing very soon with your new set-up.
