Trouble recording with Cross Pack

Postby arajan76 on 14 Jun 2010, 04:54

Hi there. I'm having a problem while recording a mix with Cross Pack on the same computer. It seems when recording a master mix i have no sound when playing it back, on the other hand when i record channels A and B separate i have no issues with playback, I have nice clear sound on both. Any suggestions?

Hey.

The easyest Way to Record some Mixes is with the program audacity for mac and Win.
Plug your Mixer or your soundcard with your chinch into the line in from your Computer.

you find some videos on YouTube with audacity and mix recording...

Mixevibes already have a recording feature, why need another program on top of that. I'm just having some troubles figuring it out. Not exactly the answer I was looking for, but thanks anyway!

  record my mixes thru Cross all the time  ,if you have good recordings from a deck and b deck then i would think the master mix would be good also, plus that gives information that you know the file where the rec are stored :!: not shure what the problem is caused by ,a little more info ,might help figure it out.

Mixvibes have a feature to record internal mixing if you use external mixing you need to replug the mixer outputs into the computer.

bumping an old thread (sorry for that) since well I have the exact same problem. I recorded several mixes (WAV) to finally realize that they're empty although their size is not 0. doesn't play in foobar2000. doesn't play in Cross itself either.

what's going on?

do you need any more info?

  Dont worry bout the bump, need a little more info  I use the rec feature in Cross , but i just use the pogram by it self,, not using a external mixer,,Cross saves them , (with prompting for file name,i can then play them on home 7 and add samples and effects to the mix,,,as support said if you use your outputs to a external mixer you need to send the mastermix from your mixer back to the comp, or another computer to record it through a recording program,  yes again a little more info on your set up and possibilities,

I see... the lack of punctuation had me misunderstand the post from support@MV

I had to think about it a couple of minutes but it all makes sense now, thanks Daniel! :)
