Re/De-activation

Postby Sebastian on 26 May 2010, 21:04

Hello, as my Laptop got stolen I'm wondering if there is a way to deactivate my old registration and reactivate it at my new computer (which I don't have yet...).

(I know that I can activate it two times, therefore the activation on a new computer shouldn't be a problem, but I'd like to deactivate the installation on my stolen Laptop anyway, in case I want to make a second installation on an other computer...

And is MixVibes DVS compatible with Windows 7 (32-Bit and/or 64-Bit). If yes, is it possible to use one registration for a windows 7 64-bit and the other one for windows xp) as there is software that does not allow it...

And another one: if I'm using a Dualboot system with 2 different operating systems (therefore CPU ID and all hardware parts are the same) does it count as one or two registration(s)?

Yikes! Sorry to hear about that :(... I think n-deep might be able to sort that out for you.

Correct, MV7 works with Windows 7, both 32/64-bits. I don't see why it wouldn't work on 7 and XP, as they just take up part of your 2 serial usages.

I'm not sure about this one, as I have no personal experience with it. If CPU ID and such are the same, I don't see why it wouldn't work. *BUT* we'll see what Support has to say about it, since he knows better than I do :)
