'Can't load media'

Hi,
I've just joined this site after buying a Discovery DJ today. I've installed the Mixvibes but when I try load an iTunes track onto the A and B players I get a fault saying 'can't load media-file too big to be loaded into memory'

My question is do I need to convert my music files or compress them somehow or am I completely missing something along the way.
Keepin mind I've no experience whatsoever so I'm probably messing it up!

Have you tried loading the tracks without iTunes? Straight from the file explorer or per drag & drop from folder?!

Maybe the iTunes files are m4p - the older iTunes format - those do not work for me, too.

Greetings,

Steve

How big are they ? what extension ?
I can read huge wave files without any problem (and even video media  )

Hey, thanks for all the replies.

The files are roughly 8mb in size.

I've just downloaded Cross 1.3.2 and it seems to be working now hopefully!
