As I can see in my DVS keyboard section there is nothing to bind it to so unfortunately I guess that it is not possible.

Greetings,

Steve

Have you tried turning on the MIDI learn and mapping it that way? It's just a guess, I haven't had a keyboard like that before.

  that was kinda what i was thinking also  the control he is referencing to , in normal operation control the media player ,volume being the center circular one  also buttons for stop,play/pause, fwd (next),rev,(previous) media player control.  i have the logiteck G15 that also has a center flip up lcd screen that displayes info, time /date , cpu/ram usage,countdown/stopwatch. the extra set of buttons on the left hand side are labled G1 thru G18, this is a gaming keyboard, got mine for the simple reason that it is backlight and you can see the keyboard with out lighting   never looked into the possibilities of trying to keyboard map it ,but if i get a chance to try will need a little more info on how to mapp it( the procedure itself) would use it to map the sampler to G1 -G 18 since the numeric key pad doesnt give full or proper control( prior posting )   couple ah cools,

That's why I believe Steve is correct, but it never hurts to see if MIDI learn works on it. If you really were feeling adventurous, you could always give Bome's MIDI Translator a go, you might be able to convert the output of the volume control into MIDI and use it that way ;)

  Kinda thinking MIDI learn wont help, probly a key board stroke wouldnt be the same as a MIDI command :?: :?: Played around a minuite ,hit the learning tab and tried to assign keystrokes from the g1 to sampler pad control , didnt take nor did the keyboard mapping change , other than trying to edit a keyboard mapping for that/this paticular key boad(past my knodlege level) :!: :!: my next thought is that you have 4 efx volume controls how would you be able to use one control to distunish between the diferent decks volume control(for fx)  key board shotcuts allow for less mouse motion/control,but i think if you want more control a MIDI controller is a better way to achieve this   maybe i am wrong but dont have enuff experience to try to post a valid opion/statment of fact   let me know how it goes cause $250 for a decent MIDI is out of range for me

 :) :) went back and played with keyboard learning some more :surprised: :surprised: have to follow steps listed in tutorial. important to go to options ,keboard select new, before trying to map new key strokes once you set up the strokes the program fill in the :?: info /data page and i think if you save it then it will be avaible to use, havent tried to map that volume button yet :!: but will get there, might try to use it for the sampler vol or the rec vol.
   Still playing around with it  came back and the commands non functional, still missing something,
first question is how /where would you delete the new keyboard file generated  dont want 20 new files when i get this figured out,
