Hi rgegeo,

I've used the Shure M44-7s and I think they work great!

hi regegeo!

i compared a two year old "black" Ortofon DJ with
a new "blue" Ortofon and noticed no difference :D
The Timecode vinyls of mixvibes a really great!
You notice maybee a difference at ultra slow vinyl movements if u use a cartridges with a high output voltage.

Very easy answer: There are none.
In the past it was like "choose one with a very high output". But its not like that anymore since the timecode gots more precise.

I suppose the question should be rephrased as;
"Which needles last longer, have the least wear on your timecode records, and best bang for you $$$" (as signal output values are not as important anymore with Mixvibes systems) ;)
