Eks XP10 and ASIO no sound

Hi all,

I'm having trouble getting ASIO to work using four Eks XP10's.
No matter what I do I can't get audio ouput from the XP10's.
I'm using the latest (ASIO)drivers from Eks.

At first I thought it was my new MV-VFX software, but in MV-Producer I have the exact same result: no audio when using ASIO. :(
(No trouble with other audio software and ASIO.)

I tried to use Multi-Audio which only works for two devices.
The four available output devices are listed as:
- Burr-Brown Japan PCM2702
- Burr-Brown Japan PCM2702 (2)
- Burr-Brown Japan PCM2702 (2)
- Burr-Brown Japan PCM2702 (2)
As you can see, one would expect the numbering for the last two to be 3 and 4.
As a result Mixvibes will only allow two to be used!?

Is anybody using the Eks ASIO driver with the XP10's succesfully in Mixvibes? If so, which driver version works for you?

Cheers,

Robert

Is it 1 driver that can allow 4 pairs of outputs or is there 4 asio drivers ? Because we can only handle 1 asio driver at a time...

Using asio4all to make a 0/8 soundcard should do the trick.

EKS created a single ASIO driver allowing for the connection of several devices.

Depending on how many devices are connected the driver will list the number of outputs (e.g. 4 xp10's give 8 outputs (4 stereo) all using a single asio driver).

Mixvibes does allow me to select EKS ASIO driver and assign the channels, but audio is never heard.

Please note that, besides the asio problem, the "Burr-Brown Japan PCM2702" device list-problem is in the Multi-Audio section only!

Can you select all the in and out in the asio drivers ?

Concerning the multi audio section, MV is only listing what Windows have as devices. So what are the name of the devices in the manager ?

Yes all outputs can be selected.
Note, that these devices have no input capability, output only.

When not using ASIO, XP10's are recognised as regular usb-speaker devices and work with Microsofts own device drivers.
