Software pitch doesn't stop moving [Mac OS X]

Hello,

I have an issue since a few days while using MixVibes Cross, the pitch is not steady.

The pitch always moves between 0 and +3 all along the song whereas the pitch on my decks (Numark TT 200) are at 0 and the quartz locked. So the tempo doesn't stop moving, so annoying... My turntables and their pitches work fine with a classic vinyl.

I tried to re-calibrate, change the "pitch bend" options, reset the pitch in MixVibes, clean the vinyls, clean the cartridge (Ortofon Scratch)... but the issue persists... Do you have any idea how to solve that ?

Here is my config:

Numark TT 200
Vestax VMC 002
MixVibes Cross 1.3.2, card U46 MK2
MacBook Aluminium with Mac OS X 10.6.2

Thanks,
AlecSkid.

Can you reinstall your audio interface drivers? It seems as if the timecode is translated in a strange way. You can forget to look for the fault at your hardware (turntables and mixer) becuase as you said it works with usual records. The problem exists anywhere in or behind you audio interface.

Greetings,

Steve

Did you change something recently ? Plugs, cables or so ?

Hello,

No I didn't change anything, I re-downloaded the last version of Cross and re-installed it.

I also remove the preference files of the software in:
~/Library/Preferences/com.mixvibes.Cross.plist
~/Library/Preferences/Mixvibes

The issue has disappeared, I hope it will last… I work for Apple so as the issue seems software I still have a few tips to try for next time ;)

Thanks guys.
