Hi everybody!

is there a way to use PITCHSHIFT as a "relative" command?
Depending of the actual Pitch(Speed)change?

Thanks for your help!

Can you be more precise please? How do you use the pitchshift? MIDI? if yes what kind of command do you use? note on/off?control change?
Give an example! ;)

OK some more details

i mapped the PITCHSHIFT command with diffeerent values (chrmomatic: -800, -700,-600,..., 700, 800) on my Mid Keyboard which sends note on/off
to play melodies with my tracks like on a Vestax controller one. (viewtopic.php?f=259&t=12462&p=95767&hilit=Vestax+one#p95767)

no my problem:
while mixing i sometimes have to change the key of tracks for harmonic mixing.
lets say i play a track at key 0/F and increase the key to 2/G, if i now want to use my pitchift +100 command the key gets down to 1/F#. so the PITCHSHIFT is absolute. but i like a behavoir which is relative to the orginal key. so that the key gets up to 3/G#.

...hope i explained it good
thanks Marxon

sorry i don't understand your question at all... harmonic mixing in various modes i can answer

try to explain wghat you are trying to do, what result you are looking for ...

FYI : Use the master tempo to maintain your harmonic KEY at variable playback speeds...

deactivate it, to modify theharmopnic note depending on playback speed

ok step by step:

i play my tracks with activated Mastertempo and adjust the KEY manually.
-if i play a track at normal speed and key (120bpm KEY:0/F)
-next i do a 1 beat loop with some cool sound
-now i use my keyboard (with mapped PITCHSHIFT commands) to adjust the KEY chromatically from
0/F upwards :right: 1/F# (Note 34, PITCHSHIFT+100)
:right: 2/G (Note 35,PITCHSHIFT+200)
:right: 3/G# (Note 36, PITCHSHIFT+300)...
or from
0/F downwards :right: 0/E (Note 33, PITCHSHIFT-100)
:right: -1/D# (Note 32, PITCHSHIFT-200)
:right: -2/D (Note 31, PITCHSHIFT-300)....

so i can play "melodies" with this loop
:right: everything is good

BUT
if i want to do the same playing a track where I in- or decreased the key already (for example from 0/F up to 2/G):
hitting Note34 (PITCHSHIFT+100) now,
shouldt result in 3/G# (2/G + "1 key up" = 3/G#)
but the KEY changes from 2/G to 1/F#
so the KEY gets decreased by one (related to the actually KEY of 2/G)
