Hi kazz :) Good setup, the 1000mk3's are reliable for timecode from my experience.

You need to set up your audio settings as appropriate. See this tutorial for information on setting up Cross on Mac with a U-Mix 44. :)

Also, make sure you are using absolute mode rather than relative mode. From my tests cue points DO work in relative mode too, but only if you use them for looping purposes. If you want the CDJs to handle like normal CD decks, and use the cue and looping functions on it as usual, absolute mode is the most appropiate.

Also make sure you are running the latest version, 1.3.2, available from the downloads section.

Happy mixing!

hey,
ive got the latest version of Cross. i think the issue i have noticed is that the calibration of the timecode cd is not working right, because when i do the calibration process there is no graph in the box, and when the calibration button is pressed nothing happen, and so the quality remains 0%. i am new to this software so sorry for the headache, but i tho it was gna be easy to install. i just want the software to do exactly what the pioneers would do without the software, and i know it has the capabilities.

thanks

make sure your cabales are jooked up correctly, that you have selected MV CD in the "preferences/vinylCD menu"

you should be able to get full coverage of your CDJ features...

hey polocorp,
ive done exactly what you said, cheked all the cables and MV CD is selected. output of the songs are fine, timecode is perfect. however the cue functions and the hot cues are still not working on the software. yet they work on the timecode cd as i can see the functions working on the cdjs, but not working alongside the software. Also can you please tell me how long should the calibration take because the quality still shows 0% and no graph shows up

thanks kazz

No graph means no input.
Can you publish here with the upload attachment file function snapshots of your audio & vinyl/cd preference (.jpg .png .gif )

Kazz you probably haven't read the FAQ in detail.

i think the problem is the input level on your U-Mix 44.

Go to your windows sound control pannel and modify the input level until the timecode spectrum appears in the calibration box (inpuit level close to zero on my computer). recalibrate and you're good to go.

can you confirm you have activated "absolute" mode ?
