can I use a RIAA-corrected timecode signal with mixvibes?

I was wondering whether I could use the Mixvibes timecode vinyls with the software while RIAA-corrected?

I am interested in buying a set, but since I still want to play regular records, I'd like to amplify the phono signal first before sending it into the sound card.

I hope someone could clarify this for me.
Thanks.

Yes it is possible you just need to switch the inputs in the software between phono or line level.

Thanks for your answer.
However, that's not quite what I meant. E.g. when I amplify both phono signals with my mixer, I can't send these signals to the sound card individually. I'd like to know whether the following is possible:

turntable --> RIAA pre amp --> soundcard IN --> Mixvibes software --> soundcard OUT --> mixer line in

I'm sorry, I'm afraid misread your answer a bit...Didn't read you were mentioning the software line / phono switch...

Thanks again for your answer :)

In the software you need to tell him that the signal is already riaa processed which give line instead of phono in the awaited inputs.

Here is a better overview :

Phono mode :
turntable --> soundcard IN --> Mixvibes software (phono:yes)--> soundcard OUT --> mixer line in

Line mode
turntable --> RIAA pre amp --> soundcard IN --> Mixvibes software (phono : no)--> soundcard OUT --> mixer line in

Alright, seems very clear :)

That's true, you can use a RIAA-corrected signal to control Cross as explained above.

However, keep in mind that with RIAA-correction, the timecode analysis is often a bit worse (the signal being distorted by the RIAA stage) and scratch movements might be a bit less accurate.

Globally no noticeable difference if you don't scratch.

Cheers,
