Hi all,

is there any option that mixvibes is scanning the music library aujtomatically while running? because if i select all my music and rightclick -> analyse bpm automatically my mixvibes crashes. Furthermore i would like to sort my playlists by BPM because i also play black / rnb and i like to have my list from slow to fast bpm but if i click on bpm in a playlist nothing is happening. And do i have to add all my songs one by one into playlists because if i want to add a whole folder by drag and drop into the playlist nothing is happening aswell.

Thanks in advance

best regards

Hi Fant0m,

maybee some of your media files are corrupt. try to analyze in smaller chunks.

could it be you mix up a playlist with a mediabase?
a playist is a sequence of tracks from your mediabase.
this is why you cant sort them by bpm or drag a folder of files into it

Thanks for your reply!

Well i got the mediabase on the left where i can add all my music and scan. i got my playlist in the middle where i can add music one by one out of the explorer on the right or the mediabase. My question is since i am playing black music and elektro how can i create several playlists sorted by bmp. I mean if i want to play crunk / dirty south for example i cant search in my whole mediabase because i also got RNB which has the same bpm speed some times and its impossible to remember all music. And if i want to add all my music in playlists and save them its incredible much work because i can always add one song and after that they are not sorted by bpm yet which i have to do also one by one.

Hi again Fant0m

Sorry, this reply is a little bit late.
Try to use several small mediabases with different bpm banges (131-135, 136-140...)

Why not put in the genre Rnb or Crunk to avoid this ?

custom genre's are the way to go

or you can also use comments field and sort by this

I drop the tracks that i want, to make a playlist, to mp3tag and sort them by Bpm field. Then i export all these tracks as a m3u and then locate this m3u with mixvibes and i have a playlist sorted by Bpm.

Fully agree with you, but nowadays people want to do everything inside the box.
