(1) In the File/Options/Vinyl, I'm unable to select MULTICHANNEL as the "Audio" and hence I cannot select USB AUDIO CODEC for the "Source"

(2) I was able to select USB AUDIO CODEC for the "Audio" but all I'm getting is a high pitch sound from the mixer output to the speakers.

I sure do appreciate any help I can get, thanks.

Hi anilde,

From what I can tell, it looks like you're using version 6 and haven't installed the proper drivers. Head over to the download center and grab the latest update. Are you trying to use an internal or external soundcard?

Hey Phadedvision,

The latest update for the DVS LE that I saw was version 6.412 (I could be wrong on this), this version is already installed on my PC.

Which drivers do I need to install?

I'm presently using an internal soundcard, what is the minimum soundcard compatibility to use the mixvibes program?

I was looking to purchase an external soundcard "PPA 1455 USB 6 channel external sound adaptor". Will this work/ solve the problem.

Thanks

Hi Anilde2010

Do you want to use Vinyls for controlling? Do you have a external mixer

Marxon,

I'm using the DJ TECH iSCRATCH 101 CD player connected to an external mixer (Behringer VMX1000).

I am using the Time Coded CD for controlling.

Thanks Marxon,

Atleast I don't need to buy another piece of equipmnt.

But now I'm back to square 1 in trying to solve this problem.

According to the mixvibes DVS LE manual that I got with the CD players:
(1) In the File/Options/Vinyl, I should be able to select MULTICHANNEL as the "Audio" and USB AUDIO CODEC for the "Source"
However I'm not getting the option to select MULTICHANNEL as the "Audio".

Update your DVS LE to the latest edition first, before going further. There is a Version 7 of the LE, available from the download center if you've registered your product on the forums, which I see you have.

You do not need to use the timecode CD on those CD decks. I believe they have an HID function which means the player can directly control the software. Connect your decks via USB first.

Stealthii,

When I went to the download center, and selected the UPDATES section, the site is only taking me to the DVS LE 6.412 version which was last updated since 14th August 2008.
If there is a version 7, somehow the site is not allowing me to access it.

Can anyone help in trying to get access to this update?

Thanks
