Hi lamont,

What event usually causes Cross to freeze? Have you upgraded to the latest version?

Mixvibes, as a realtime audio application, has the potential to use up a lot of system resources, if necessary. When running Cross, make sure:

    - No other applications are running, especially web browsers, or torrent managers, etc.
    - You have your computer on a Full Power mode, or full speed setting
    - You have all important updates for your operating system, including Service Packs and driver updates
    - You have updated to the latest version of Cross available from the Download Center.

If you have done all of the above and still have freezes when using Cross, do mention exactly what happens. Is the computer just luggy / slow? (If Cross performs well, but everything else on your computer is slow, this is normal) or does Cross itself lack in performance? Make sure your computer also meets the recommended requirements for Cross!

Reading another post about audio cache. It was mentioned to 0 the cache. So i tried it and that has seamed to fixed my crashing problem.

Would still like to have some type of way to add effect while using Cross. Is the any way that can be done?

As of now, it's not a native feature.

If you want effects that work with any software, can use a DJ mixer with built in effects, or an external effects unit like-
The Korg MINI KP, Korg KP3 Kaoss Pad
Pioneer EFX-1000
Behringer TWEAKALIZER DFX69
just a few mentioned but there are loads more
all depending on how much cash you want to spend too....(if u have it!) ;)
Cheers
