ryt folks im purchasing two gemini tt 02 turntables
i have a selection of software on my PC that allows timecode setups including mixvibes obv ;)

so when i purchase these decks and two timecode vinyls what else do i need to have in order to hook then up to my PC ?

does the output from the mixer (which i have also yet to purchase) need to go through an interface? would any rca into usb interface do the job or does it specificly have to be a audio 8 interface?

also when i purchase these decks theres no mixer, can i use the internal mixer on my software and just have the deck(s) goint straight into my laptop?

sorry if this is posted in the wrong section im a neewby =)

Please post questions regarding the mixvibes software registered. I don't see any registration for DVS on your account.

No, it can be any multichannel USB or Firewire interface.

I don't see why that wouldn't work, although seeing that you have 3DEX LE, I'd check within the preferences to see if you're able to use vinyl first. What did your software come bundled with?

thanks for the reply phadedvision
i can find a RCA to usb interface much cheaper then the standard audio 8 interface so that's relief

wel i was bought the DJ tech imix MIDI console for christmass in the box there was (besides the i mix of course ;) )
Traktor3 LE
and mixvibes 3 dex

however i also have a handfull of other software which my MIDI is set up to work with ;)

I'm fairly certain that vinyl mode won't work with your version of MixVibes, but we have a nice upgrade price to a full version that supports everything. Check here for the link: http://mixvibes.com/site/pageeng/page.php?x=webshop

Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns,

after looking abit more in depth at traktor it seems it does support timecoded vinyl
mixvibes 3dex does not however no problem as its not the only software i have :)

Traktor LE does not support timecode. Neither does Duo or Pro which are your only upgrade options. I think you'll find the 3dex upgrade is your cheapest option ;)
