Hello. I just purchased the Ion Discover DJ package with MixVibes Cross software included, and the Discover DJ mixer is connected via a USB. When I connect it to my computer it lights up, but all the buttons are lit up, not just the ones i've pressed. (I've seen people using it, and only the ones being used are lit.) So... Long story short, when i run the program, i can use the DJ software with my mouse and keyboard but not the mixer, thats the only reason i bought this software was to use the mixer. Anybody who could help me would be greatly appreciated.

Does it appear in the devices manager ?

make sure the controller is plugged in before you launch the software.

Try a different usb port, if you have a hub, plug it directly into computer bypassing hub.

STRATEGY

I am also having this problem. Checked the device manager and the Ion Discover DJ comes up with a yellow exclamation mark in the "Unknown Devices" listing then converts to a USB Audio Device in the "Sound, video, and games controllers" listing. All lights on the Discover DJ controller light up when plugged into a USB port. The MixVibes Cross program works with mouse and keyboard.

I am running Windows XP SP2 and recently installed the Cross v1.3.2 with no luck.

Any possible solutions?

MixVibes is only in charge of software support. If your controller is not correctly recognized by your system (yellow exclamation mark), and for any other hardware issue, please contact ION Audio.

If the system can't see/use your device correctly, there is no application that could use it.

I've attempted to install the software on my HP Laptop running Vista SP2. The laptop recognizes the ION Discover DJ in the Device Manager as a Sound, video and game controller, however, all lights on the Discover DJ remain lit and does not control the Cross LE program.

I have left a support question with ION and awaiting a response.

Any other suggestions would be great before I return this system.

If you can't see it neither on a Xp nor on a Vista system, then it's a faulty unit.
