If you look closely to the duration box you'll see it can't change because this is the absolute duration of the track and it won't never change.
Hitting reset moves cursor back to 0:0:0.0. On the track itself: at start of song it has -11 and when I get to cue point it is set at/as 1.
The cue point is different from the first beat.
I also have Auto Gain adjustments unchecked in "Mix" tab in Options.
Nothing common in here.
