Hi,
Can iTunes be used with DVS 7?
If it can, will DVS read AAC files, too?

Well Yes and No..
-No there is no iTunes intergration on DVS(there is on Cross), but
-Yes you can drag songs FROM iTunes into DVS Mediabase.
-No AAC. Crappy format anyway.

You can only import your iTunes librairy to build a mediabase and all your playlists will also be available.

- yes you can import your iTunes library and playlists
- yes you can read iTunes AAC files, but only those that are not DRM protected : you can read m4a but not m4p. You'll need to download codecs though to read these files

Just go into iTunes; crtl+a all the tunes you want to import, then 'drag and drop' them into your DVS mediabase list.
Easy.
The 'import iTunes database' option did not work for me either, but drag and drop did.
(note; have not tried this on 7.3)
Cheers

The 'import iTunes database' option work for me.
MV7 is looking for the iTunes xml on a local documents/mymusic folder, if your iTunes library is not there then it can't work.
