[Solved] Threshold slider in Cross

Could someone tell me what the Threshold slider does in relation to the timecode on the Vinyl/Cd tab of Cross

It's the only option I don't understand

"threshold is for sensitivity if you want it to be more reactive. But if you do so, rumble, ground and noises will be more prominent in the capture of the signal."
