You have to use the MixVibes Records, and not the Finalscratch Records!!!!

thanks. i found a place Rock and Soul in ny. another quick question,( probably has to do w/ the FS records) but just wondering...
what does it mean when the Decks A and B start flashing and a stack of records appears in each deck? i'm assuming it's saying that it can't read the record and therefore goes into Flexible mode? thanks for ur timely responses.

Sweet. Glad you found something close to you.
Flashing deck usually means coming up to the end of the current track playing on Cross(30 secs is default warning flash on Cross-can be changed in preferences/general ).

Stack of records? Not sure about that...Might be the "FS time code" could be using the "track selection time code" that mixvibes uses at the end of the B side of their control records. Dunno why it goes into Flexible mode on that...Probably the FS time code again.

good luck dude
Cheers

Thanks again. another question... ;) iTunes doesn't recognize my iTunes library. when i first installed and i saw the import iTunes option in Cross i selected it , but it was importing an old iTunes Library. So i deleted the iTunes library, and threw out Cross and the Library contents to see if it would recognize a fresh iTunes Library. now Cross says, "iTunes library not found, make sure it's properly installed." is there a way to refresh this directory to iTunes. also if i have to reinstall, what is the proper way? i do not see an uninstall. thanks so much.

when iTunes boots up, hold down the shift key i think from memory, and you can select multiple librarys. This allows you 2 have like multiple librarys on the same iTunes..maybe this will help u find the other valid iTunes librarys

thanks, but iTunes can find the libraries, but Cross can not. is there a way to direct Cross to the correct iTunes library?

Dunno mate.. someone else might know, but it sounds like Mixvibes-itunes cannot locate its default library(as you erased it) have a look in 'previous library' folder in 'my music/iTunes'.
Sounds like tho it might be a re-install of iTunes/ and or Cross to re-associate the 2 programs .
thats my 2 cents....
I actually have my HD partitioned, and mixvibes on one side(no net connection ,minimal drivers ..ect), iTunes on the other. I can edit my mixvibes iTunes on the other side by using the 'shift key' booting method i mentioned before....someone else might know more.
