MV Producer HELP!!!

Postby Rowg on 04 Dec 2009, 17:26

Hi Guys,

I have just upgraded from DVS 6 to PRO 7

I am using 2 x 1210's, maya 44USB, and Behringer djm750..

Everything sets up fine in pro, much easier i found that with 6... except!! the waveform on the player has a mind of its own. The sound doesnt jitter, but the waveform does. This is mostly when the timecode vinyl is stopped, or being moved slowly.

I had a previous issue with 6, which i sorted out with ground loop isolators... and am still using these. there are no audio interferences/pops/crackles or anything..just visual problems on the waveform (which is a nuisance with cueing/sampling etc!

Hope someone knows what to do!!

Thanks,

R

Hi Rowg,

Double-check that your ground wires are attached well.

Cheers!

Hi,

I have done this and its still the same. I have tried doubling up ground loop isolators on the inputs and outputs of the soundcard, I have tried removing the ground loop isolators all together, and still the same.

Now I have had a go, and there is a way of fixing it... when i cycle through the vinyl control options and get back to all relative (which i use), it works fine.. is this a problem with my timecode maybe?

Welcome Rowg..
You probably wont get more help unless you do the following:

"Forum rules

I did not make the rules, i just follow them :)
