Anyone with experience creating sequences with DVSPro7.218?

Very interested in creating sequences, like for example to open MP3 Song1, and then at a specific duration after the start time, play song2 from a specific start time point, and either fade or mix it in like in beat-match or just “cut” to Song2, and maybe apply an effect or go back to Song1, then Song3 and so on… in some sort of a time line for the production.

I have created a playlist of the songs I want in the production. So I click in File->Playlist->Export and then save it as "sequence.lst" but then I don’t know what to do with it or how to open it, and how to modify its contents or how to invoke the sequencer or how it all works, or how am I supposed to work it.

So please, if anyone has experience creating and manipulating sequences with DVSPro7.218 I will greatly appreciate if you could give me some pointers! Thanks!

As far as I'm aware, MV has the playlist feature (which it seems that you're aware of) but that's about as far as it goes. Creating a sequence like sounds handy though!

However, exporting your playlist is exactly as it sounds, nothing too fancy behind it.

Edit: If you right click -> open your .lst file in Notepad, you'll see a bunch of information and times. Experiment a bit and see what you can come up with ;)

Cheers,
Phaded

Cheers! You are right Phaded! There is very interesting content in the playlist export to LST file! I wonder where might be some more information on this subject for version 7.218
