[EN][Cross] [Half SOLVED]troubles with iTunes columns

Hi.
i am having trouble with the iTunes integration of Cross.
It seems that when you use iTunes in Cross, It has a option to display a 'key' column BUT it does not show the key. I have updated the tracks ID3 tag to v2.3 outside of mixvibes with iTunes to try and remedy this;
*But within iTunes, there is no such 'key' column to view (But in the Cross iTunes, there is a key column?????)...
*In my 'Collection/Mediabase' list in Cross, it shows the key in key column - it works fine.
*In windows explorer, there is no option to display a 'key' column.
Would be very helpful to know this information to be able to load up tracks 'on the fly' from iTunes during a gig, and have the information there BEFORE it gets loaded into a collection list.
i really don't want to have to load up my tracks to be analyzed again, just to put them into another column.
I have an old version of Mixed In Key software(CRAP), which doesnt seem very accurate anymore, and i don't wanna fork out more cash to them again for the new version, so I have been using Rapid Evolution to display keys in the key column.

cheers

Well to add to this post, i sorta worked out a way around it....
Ive bit the bullet, and started re-analyzing ALL my tracks again.

MY Solution -
In Rapid Evolution, ive used multiple columns to display key information. I worked out that i could use the 'grouping' column field in RE, which will show up in iTunes, and in Cross iTunes; AND it also still fills in the 'Key' field in 'my collection/mediabase' within Cross.
*The Key info is also in my 'comments' column to view in Windows explorer (no 'grouping' column in win exp) . i would have used 'comments' column for iTunes, but the keys info doesn't seem to show up in there. go figure...
Total pain in the ass to go through key analyzing again, and its gonna take like a day or 2 i think, but at least its half solved my problem.

Never tried to get like 5 applications to work together in some sorta harmony, and its fried my brain a bit.....
I cant wait for the day the digital media organizing takes that giant leap, and i wont have to go through this again..........

I'm feeling you. i've been using Mixed in key to analyze tracks too. The good news is that all the improvements on the mediabase maangement developed by MixVibes for Rekordbox are scheduled to be merged with Cross... probably stilla couple of months patience though; Since the next updates are focused on CD/Vinyl feel and MIDI implementation...

In the mean time i've been using the same trick as you ;)

Lol Polocorp....as long as it works...
Can you try and see if you can get multiple tracks with MIK key info in the 'comments' column to show up in iTunes?
Im still analyzing my tracks - 9 hrs now, and i cant believe how many tracks were in the wrong key (my MIK is an older version, as i missed out on the free upgrade to the newer MIK by 2 weeks! - so they are not getting anymore of my $)

Cant wait for the next update- i dont like the vinyl feel as much as i do on DVS7. Just not as 'tight', but the sound engine in Cross is HEAPS better though.
At least you can feel my pain :) thanks for the reply and your time.
cheers
