problems, please help> 1 channel is to slow!

Postby mindster on 12 Nov 2009, 23:03

Hi There!

A couple of weeks back, i was mixing some music, but when i wanted to mix 2 tracks, the track on channel 1, was unmixable!
The track is a lot slower and I hear a crackling sound..
When you just wait for about 20 seconds, then it will work kind off normal, but when I want to mix it in... it goes wrong, and it happens again..
I have switched cables, vinyls, etc., but without any result.

It only happens when I want to mix with vinyl, because when I just play the tracks in Mixvibes, everything sounds normal.

I have uninstalled the driver, and installed again, but also this wasn't working.
It has something to do with the input I think?

Does anyone know this problem? and how can I solve it?

I use Mixvibes 7, with U46mk2 (latest update) on a Dell laptop
2 Technics SL1200 mk2,

Thanks!!

Hello,

Is it happening with the same channel when switching the turntables?

try running the reset.exe from the installation folder
eg c:\program files\mixvibes\dvs7

do this with DVS closed

re open the app and you will be prompted with the installation wizzard
you will need to set everything up eg vinyl soundcard etc
should fix your problem
