various problems - crosspack 1.2.5

Postby damienjay on 11 Nov 2009, 18:06

I have some problems which I need resolving please....

Firstly I originally loaded Cross 1.2.5 from the cd and then came on the site to download the update which I did, I had to re-enter the register key, but I am still not sure if this was completed properly as I do not see any difference.

second problem:
While a track in playing on one deck and I load a track on the other deck, the track that is playing cuts out a couple of times until the track is completly loaded.

third problem:
the audio preference settings has to be reset everytime I boot up the software....Is there anyway to set this to default?

fourth problem:
On audio preference settings I was trying to select 48000hz from 44100hz as suggested on the site but it does not allow me to select this for some reason?

Please help!!

hi. welcome.
what soundcard do you have?
im guessing you have the SC with the Cross Pack( U46MKII)
this guide will help you with most of your problems.

viewtopic.php?f=207&t=12058

*There were bug fixes in the update you applied. Doesnt mean it will change the way the interface looks.
P>S> pre-analyze(right click, select analyze bpm and peak) all your tracks in 'collection' - BEFORE you load them into the decks, to avoid high CPU usage, and glitching out of your current audio stream.
good luck
hope ive helped you

The icon should have changed to Cross 1.2.x

second problem:
While a track in playing on one deck and I load a track on the other deck, the track that is playing cuts out a couple of times until the track is completly loaded.

This most likely has to do with your latency settings. Do you have extra processes running in the background?

third problem:

It should automatically save, as tested in Cross DJ 1.2.7 & Cross Beta 1.2.11.

fourth problem:
On audio preference settings I was trying to select 48000hz from 44100hz as suggested on the site but it does not allow me to select this for some reason?

All I can think of is that an uninstall/reinstall of your U46 drivers might fix that
