The demo verion had perference. madiabase, help, different skins, samples. The Cross I download have file and view no mediabase, no help, no crossfaders

Try uninstalling and reinstalling Cross if you haven't already. You can also try changing your routing mode to enable the faders, etc.

Cross doesn't have samples and different skin.
You didn't try the Cross' demo, but you bought a Cross full version. (it looks like you tried a MV 7 demo)
