sorry if this has been posted elsewhere
I was wondering if it is possible to use mixvibes and final scratch together.
I have been using Traktor but have since brought a new Apple mac laptop before I found out that it is no longer compatable
Has anyone used mixvibes and final scratch together and if so how did you set it up ect
I really want to get back dj-ing as soon as possible

I believe it's going to work fine but remember that only Cross has a (intel-based) mac version.

Yes, Final Scratch 2.0 will work with Mixvibes Cross. I have run it on a mac mini. It will show up automatically if you have a mac with recent OS, but as for a PC, the world may never know!

Yeah I have got it working just having a few set up problems to get it running like Traktor

can you make it so that where you place the styles corresponds to the position on the song


As for the firewire problem your having il have a look into it and see if i come up with any suggestions

First of all can you download and install the latest update? Fill in your serial number into your profile to have full access to this part of our forum.

It should do that by default, like traktor, but I have not found control vinyl anywhere convenient in Kansas City or online...

I solved the problem in the Apple forums. Someone else had used MBP with FW800-400 cable successfully. I got a new cable (1meter instead of 5meter) and everything worked. I was needing my computer to be away from the FS unit, but I will re-work the spacing now.

running Cross 1.2.5

just double-checked my serial number was still entered.

everything works now per prev reply.
