[solved]One turntable and VCI 100 as a mixer

Thank you for this great forum!!!

1. Can I use Cross with a maya 44, and only pdx 2000 turntable and use my VCI 100 as a mixer? (I can't afford an analog mixer for the moment...)

2. if yes to question 1, can I play on deck A with the jogwheel of my VCI( play a loop/effects) and simultaneously scratch on timecode on deckB using the VCI crossfader?

Thank you so much for your Help...

Macbook 2.16 GHZ/ 1 GO SDRAM - Maya 44 - Vestax pdx 2000 & VCI-100 - studiophile AV30

Yes you can. The VCI-100 has been preset into Cross software.

2. if yes to question 1, can I play on deck A with the jogwheel of my VCI( play a loop/effects) and simultaneously scratch on timecode on deckB using the VCI crossfader?

Yes sure.

Thank you so much n-deep!
So it means that i CAN have a full use of the vci 100 on deck a and with a digital crossfader - and scratch with Timecode on deck b?

For the settings of the deck b what is your advice? I don't have a preamp and use shure m44-7?

Merci mille fois!

no... you dont need pre-amps for your pdx 2000 ...
just plug your pdx into the maya inputs and ground your pdx to the back off your vci
