Hi,

You need to use the software' master tempo. Using the turntable MT is destroying the timecode signal.

I have another problem with the master tempo and I hope that the beginner of this thread does not hit me for asking a different question. (I hope he will not because i think that his problem is solved with the last post ;))

When I play around with mixvibes there are no problems, but if i am changing to master tempo there is a loud beep and the sound stops for half a second and after this everything works fine again. I would understand this if i would change to master tempo at the current playing deck but this alos happens when i change it at a not playing deck (a deck that i listen to via cue).

Suggestions anyone? After I solved the problem with the installation wizard after every startup I know that it are often very very small configuration aspects that I have to change to find a solution. I would be happy if anyone can help here.

It would be better if you can create your own post :D

Did you use the CD player's master tempo?

i have the same issue whit mastertempo when using cdjs.
tried allmost everything to solve this problem, but no, doesnt work.

my solution to you for this problem is: use relative and speed mode whit your pioneers. it works then fine and all is better.
whit cdjs: its better to use relative and speed.
turntables: same or absolute and speed.
no connected: absolute and mt

i also play whit Pioneer 1000cdjs all the time....
if you wanna you can press the mastertempo on, in your Pioneer dcjs, but it doesnt work like it should...maybe little help but...not sure.
put your gear on and explore and change your settings and you will find the way

"n-deep wrote turntables mt will destroy the time code signal"
not sure about that... doesnt do anything to my tc signals or make any difference to my setup

I agree with N-Deep,

on mine cdjs the MT of them is completely unusable, because it changes the key of the signal and the SW doesn't recognize anymore the timecode. it doesn't affect when the pitch is set to 0 % but when you change it gradually change the signal parameters and it gradually stops to work good.

Anyway, the person with the problem hasn't yet replied if he use the MT of the cdjs or not.
