[solved] Timecode Virtual Players Move Together

Postby DJ911 on 28 May 2009, 23:10

Mixvibes Pro 7 Timecode Virtual Players Move Together and not Independantly/seperate.
I am using Hercules Mk2 sound Card.
Question: How do I get Mixvibes Pro 7 Timecode Virtual Players to Move indepenantly/Seperately?

The answer was already in the faq here: http://mixvibes.com/site/pageeng/page.php?x=faq#ancre5
Why are the both tracks playing out on the same channel ?

If both your tracks are coming out of the same side of the mixer although you have plugged your cables correctly to both outputs of your mixer it means that your 2 virtual players (on the software interface) are most probably assigned to the same output instead of being asigned to separate outputs.

in this case the players are assigned to the same output number, this confihguration will not work correctly with an analog Mixer.

Now if you use only one channel (no external mixer) this isn't the error. Check the input of the vinyl/cd options if the two inputs are the same then you control the same deck.
