mixer not in controll of mixvibes

everything is connected correctly and can see sound is going through my mixer but i cant control the music through it. Cross fader and volume on the mixer jus do nothing. plz help

is it an external mixer you are using?

does your external mixer have MIDI output or any form or control for the computer?

unless it does then your external mixer will only fade audio much like it does when you have only cd players or record players connected to it. so it would be quite normal no to see any interaction with the GUI on the screen.

i have no idea but i plugged it all in as it showed me on youtube.....surly it shud work
