Hey,
I'm using MV DVS (7.1) since july 2008. Togheter with my partner in crime I do a weekly radioshow and gigs from time to time...
We like mv a lot but want to use more softwarefeatures than we do now (because it's not practical with 2 behind a laptop searching 4 tracks and usig effect, looping etc..
Now We want to buy a Midi-controller to control these features in combination with timecode. regarding that we are most of the time with 2 people to use 'em.

Is there anyone who has experience with that and can do reccomendations about controllers?

Thanx in advance

pcr-300 if you use Producer with VST, effect and looping, and SCS.3D if you want to use more players, effects, looping, trigger, and 3 faders you can assign to what you want.
with the SCS.3D, you can do aaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllllllll whatyou want, using the bomes MIDI translator [exemple: fader 1= pitch, button 1= shift, shift+fader1=KEY pitch    ]

and novation remote zero is full of button to assign to what you want :D

[you can assign what you want to the two first, but it like i use them ;)]

why a KP3.... :?: :?: :?: :?:

I use 4 different MIDI controllers for mixvibes with time-code vinly

I use a Vestax VCI-100..... For a small set-up (1 & 2 deck control )

I use a EDIROL PCR -500 MIDI keyboard......for production using VST-I scratching & the sampler....& EFX's on a MIDI footswich I plug into my Edirol pcr 500

I use a M-Audio triggerfinger ....if I just use it for the sampler

and I just got a Stanton SCS D3 ....I'm using for deck control & trigger Cue's and other Word censored (guess you find it I love walking on it)

the KP3 is a good EFX box but it's not a very good MIDI controller

...if you was to use the KP3 you can only use the audio or the MIDI
not the audio & MIDI at the same time.

..in DVS 7 you can only use one MIDI controller....in DVS Producer you can run two MIDI controllers
BUT !!!!... If you DO as my BOY BigiBang said and run a MIDI translator /MIDI router software you might able to run two MIDI controllers on one MIDI set-up page
( Exemple:..when I got my new Stanton SCS D3 it came with DaRouter which mixvibes can see 2 SDS D3 CONTROLLERS on one MIDI set-up page in mixvibes ....mixvibes see's DaRouter as the MIDI driver )
