Hercules RMX MIDI mapping

Hi, Ive recently purchased Producer 7 which I have downloaded along with the 7.1 upgrade (for vista). I have a hercules RMX console which worked fine with the installed maps on the Producer demo that I was trying previously.
When I tried to activate the rmx in options\MIDI I initially got the message "MIDI driver not found" so I uninstalled and reinstalled the hercules drivers and also reinstalled mv. Now I no longer get this message but still have no control through the rmx.
Following the advice of some of the other posts, I have downloaded an alternative rmx map which makes no difference and have switched on view\info. This is showing that as I press different conrols on the rmx the numbers are changing but the command remains blank after the =. I would have thought that the command= would correspond to the lists in the "edit" option for each MIDI file and maybe this is somehow the problem???
Not sure if any other info is useful but I have virtual DJ installed which runs fine with the rmx and the console is working on the MIDI learn feature.
I would really appreciate some help as Ive run out of ideas  and am desperate to get playing.
Thx!

Ok I had resigned myself to asigning the rmx functions with MIDI learn. Whilst doing this I realised that in the control column of the original .ini file the values were all #b0 where as in my MIDI learn file they were #b1. So I changed all the 0's to 1's for the original file in note pad and it works :) ....almost. The jog wheels do nothing and I cant work out why. Any ideas??
Thx

The default MIDI mapping of the rmx is mapped for the channel 1 (so for b0) of the hercules driver. You have to open the control panel of the HDJ rmx and find the channel 1.

If it works with b1, that's mean that you chose channel 2.

Thankyou! I spotted your reply on another post but couldnt figure out where to change the channel. Really, really easy when you know how . Not sure why they didnt work before but the jog wheels work now that ive changed back to channel 1 and the original ini file.
Very greatful cheers!
