Hi,
I have mixvibes DVS 7.1.
My setup is multi asio 1ms with one julia and a maya44 both PCI.
If i use the soft like this:
Open media base with
Player 1 + 2
Playlist
Sampler
Playing -> no issue.
If i use the soft like this:
Open media base with
Player 1 + 2
Playlist
Sampler
Setings things, like MIDI (tried yesterday)
The sound become crunchy after a while , first on player 2 then if i play a lot with the gui also on player 1.
If i use the soft like this:
Open media base with
Player 1 + 2
Playlist
Media
Sampler
If i take songs from media:
The sound become crunchy after a while , first on player 2 then if i play a lot with the media part also on player 1.
Is this a known issue ?
Rgds,

ASIO4ALL?
Your computer with your setup found it's limits.
you have a latency too low. That's all, you don't need to reach 1 ms to get the scratch & mix feeling.

Hi,
No, i m using the native asio with my cards.
Asio4All is not as good as native asio from ergo sys.
I don t think it s a computer limit, because i have tried lower latency and it s the same purpose, i mean:
Maya 44 Only with native asio from ergo sys lock on 192Khz
Maya 44 Only with native asio from ergo sys lock on 96Khz
Maya 44 Only with native asio from ergo sys lock on 48Khz
Also played with sample from 64 - 1024.
i can play in mode 1 (see below) in 192Khz - 128smp (latence <1ms)
For the feelings, the more faster , better is , i tried 512smp/48 and 256/192, you see a great difference in sounds and reactions
rgds,

give more latency & you will have no more glitches & distorsion. Think that if you give 2 ms it's only 2/1OOO second.
I agree there are differences between 512 (12ms) & 256 samples (6ms] in the feeling, below it's harder to find a difference between 128 (3ms) & 48 samples (1ms)

Hi,
I ve done some more quick tests , because i had tested more in 6 than 7.
I used :
Player 1 + 2
Media base
Playlist
Sampler
Config is maya44 PCI set in Asio 2.0 in mixvibes.
Test 1 :
Played all tracks from playlist only for 1-2 minutes
Test 2 :
Played all tracks from media base and playlist for 1-2 minutes
Results :
192 Khz/48 samples Test 1 -> KO
192 Khz/48 samples Test 2 -> KO
192 Khz/64 samples Test 1 -> OK
192 Khz/64 samples Test 2 -> KO
192 Khz/128 samples Test 1 -> KO
192 Khz/128 samples Test 2 -> KO
192 Khz/256 samples Test 1 -> KO
192 Khz/256 samples Test 2 -> KO
192 Khz/512 samples Test 1 -> KO
192 Khz/512 samples Test 2 -> KO
96Khz/48 samples Test 1 -> KO
96Khz/48 samples Test 2 -> KO
96Khz/64 samples Test 1 -> OK
96Khz/64 samples Test 2 -> OK
96Khz/128 samples Test 1 -> OK
96Khz/128 samples Test 2 -> OK
Summary :
It appears that mixvibes does not yet support stable works under 192 Khz.
It start to works stable at 96khz / 64 samples
