Mixvibes DVS 7, U46MK2, and calibration trouble shoot.

Hello everyone,

Its been awhile since I used mixvibes and I realized a lot has changed. I'm very anxious to try the newer software but I just cant get it to work like I used to. When I set up everything my music will play fine then slow down and start cracking a lot. I have m447 needles and used the phase inverse option and no luck. the timecode quality used to be at a consistent 85 to 90 percent but now i cant even calibrate anymore, and finally the software is acting weird, when I perform the install wizard, the latency menu isn't visible. I apologize in advance, I know that this issue may be somewhere in the forums but i searched for hours and tried to solve this issue on my own for days.

hi taqtix, this sounds like a driver issue.

Which driver version are you using ? i'd recommend 1.039 or 1.041 with version 7 otherwise you'll have the crackling issues.
Make sure you uninstall before installing the new driver. You can pick it up from the download section og the forum.

happy new year :D

well after a lot of tweaking I did get the music to playback with minimal distortion but thats still not enough for me. its scary because when i look at the timecode quality its consistently at 0 for both decks. i came up with the conclusion that its the u46dj causing problems because even when i play regular vinyl their is a lot of cracking noises. none of my hardware is messing up cause everything works perfectly on serato but i want to use mixvibes. any advice?

negative, on leopard(producing) everything seems to be working fine now but when it comes down to everything on windows and mixvibes DVS its bad. cannot calibrate, and when it luckly does i still get the same playback problems. the music would play fine for a sec then slow way down and make a bunch of cracking noises.

Go in your vinyl options & put a preamp of 4db both decks.
The sound card couldn't calibrate well on first pass?
Try this & report if it's better. Your preamp level are at 0db right now. If it's better with 4db try to adjust to the Ultimate level, the signal must not be too low or saturate. Check with the signal view.

The latency is too high set it in the config panel of the sound card to 256 samples instead of 512 as it is now
