When MV gives an incorrect bpm reading how do you change it?

Find your song in the media base, right click it and select edit... you can change all your songs properties in there..

So what do you do when after you change the bpm's, it reverts back to the incorrect one? The problem I'm having is that a lot of my music is showing up as 12o BPM, even after I rescan everything and save the database.

That’s caused by the mp3’s ID3 tags, you need to clear the BPM field of the tag or mixvibes will read it first before any of its own saved data.

After you edit the BPM with mixvibes you can use the save tag feature to write the tags but it can get messy. I recommend you use software like Rapid Evolution.

Bryan
