after scanning in gigs of files into the medibase

mixvibes began slowing down everytime a new song was loaded into the player

to be specific... a delay before the track was even loaded into the deck.

there may also have been a visual freeze on the screen at this time.. not sure though

many things can create this. Can you reproduce it anytime?

ive noticed it before during live situations... i have to do an actual formal test but i think it has something to do with the files scanned into the media base and mixvibes being overwhelmed a bit by the number of files. only speculation since this when i tend to notice the problem happening.

ill look into it more this week

Can you be more spacific with the issue you are having, also can you let us know what skin you are using... is your xp installation optimised for Mixvibes... what are you latency settings... do you experience this problem with your VCI 100 and/or vinyl/cd control, etc...

Other users have exprienced simelar problems, have a read at this post...

it s the same for me
but only when i use me second mediabase
the reason is that
as the mediabase is very very big (a lot of song) so when you search the song and put in a plyar; it's slowly .
you have a little freeze.

with my first mediabase (light); no problem
