headphone/monitor problems

hi, ive just purchased mixvibes 7 home, can play music ok using usb soundblaster, am using the internal sound card as a monitor, when i click the headphone icon in mixvibes the music cuts and i get nothing, ive tried swapping the soundcards too, any ideas?
am i doing something wrong? never had a problem with mixvibes 6

Ho Robbie,

First of all visit http://asio4all.com/ then download and install the ASIO4ALL 2.9 driver...

When the installation is complete open Mixvibes and navigate to Preferences>Soundcard and select the ASIO options. Use these options to setup the outputs as you require, remember to select your monitoring output with the bullet selector on the right hand side of the output selection properties.

hey again, i installed the driver, but there is no asio option anywhere in mixvibes sound settings or in the creative software, any ideas?

Heay Robert,

you should see these options in the "soundcard" tab of the windows options (see below),
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

o its nothing like that, im running micibes 7 home edition it only has 1 option in sound cardm which is for monitor and normal which ive selected, so im confused

i have contacted one of the development team about this issue as i was sure all versions of mixvibes had asio supprt.. i still await an answer.

what auto modes have you tried to date?

have u any ideas on the monitoring situation, this programme isnt doing what i intendedit to do, is DVS different and if so can i download that and pay the difference, also i cant download skins as it says im not registered but i have entered my serial number, any ideas?

Mixvibes Home is a basic version of Mixvvibes 7
There is no Asio
There is no full monitoring but the function you want work

Are you sure to have an updated version of Home7 check in the download. Try the RC version.

In few days I will be able to offer upgrades solutions if you feel limited.
