I have bought a new notebook that has installed the "amazing" window vista. I have mixvibes DVS 7.1 and have the following problem. When I try to move the files using drag and drop from a windows folder to mixvibes player the files are not loaded.
I have tested the mixvibes 6 and I can make this. The problem is only with Windows vista and Mixvibes 7.1.

Does someone know how I can solve this problem????????????'

- Is the 'Security' function activated? [Preferences > Security]? Because the security function disable to load a playing media.
- What is the format of your audio's files?

The format is .mp3, and i have tried toggle the security values and I obtain the same results with all security values, Also I have tried this with diferents skins and don't work.

i have updated from mixvibes 6.0 i have two .exe in my instalation folder (mixvibes.exe (version 06.),mixvibesdvs.exe(version 07.00). If i run the version 06.00 this work well, the problem only happen with the version 07.00.

I don't know if this is important, but my mixvibesdvs.exe icon have a vista shield, and when I run the application the vista s.o show a information message ask me if I want run this aplicaction.
the other .exe don't have this shield and don't ask nothing when i run it.

I advise you to re install MV7 in a DIFFERENT REPERTORY (like 'C:\Program Files\MixVibesDVS7')

I have tried install the update in other hard disk, in a diferent no system partition, and don't work.

I think that is a bug of this version, can you try do it with a windows vista and mixvibes 07.01?.

If this no is posible, I want order my files by creation time, is posible that mixvibes explorer do it?. I only can see my files by alphabetic order.

I tried it on my machine as well, no luck from Windows Explorer, but MV Explorer works just fine.

As far as date created goes, right click on one of the columns of your mediabase (i.e. Title, Artist, Genre, etc.) and "Column Properties" will appear. Check the box that says "Date Created" and you should be good to go!

Find the solution gsus! It is not a bug but only vista security.
Go in User Set Up
Start -> Control Panel -> User Account -> Disable the user account control
and it should be ok!

Yes.. the problem is the UAC (User Acount Control) that don't allow drag an drop with a no signed application. Anyone Know like quit the shield to mixvibesdvs.exe?. The bitch Vista is fucking my DVS, jeje, if I disable the UAC all the time windows vista is showing advice messages.
