upgrading to 7 home

Tried ,Tried,Tried, will find a source to get the home 7 software to install on my new comp,not totaly computer savy ,but will use my resources,have been able to down load a free mixing program that works the way i want, but crashes.( ZULU D J software )purched 6.2 home years ago,before new computer,downloaded 7 home demo looked and worked like 6.2(minus 2 output) deleted Read reviews on 7 home would like if it works, thanks :biggrin: U V for the help and postive attutide ,and concern as far as the rule checkers go send me an update, that probly wont down load either, The music like my words spin freely but the beat allways have a mind of its own

So what is your problem ? Did you manage to dwld the upgrade installer ?

:cool: More info; Down loaded upgrade 3 times ,went thru cycle of trying to install/un zip.had wind explorer problems deleted/unistalled files ,tried second time,also tried to download 6.2 upgrade in some RAR file etc deleted all,tried third time save to documents tried to install from there no sucess, just want the install software for 7 home, no fancy system no expectations of becoming a super scratcher,after my time grew up in the late 70's when Numark first came on the scene, small clubed d j in the late 70/early 80's in new york city,nothing big but enjoyed and still like my music, thanks for the help didnt peep out the forum rules (till this morn) sorry bout the tude :!: will get my sources to either help with getting the upgrade installed or repurching the software disc to install 7 home, will keep a ear on the fourm (definitly a good beat), back spin ??? what installer ??????

the MV Home 7 upgrade....

1. download your update/upgrade
2. unzip it to a physical file
3. launch the installer

the file is valid i tested it, possible issue is that a slow connection could fail to dwld the ZIP fle correctly.

Still at it , :mrgreen: kept trying windows explorer problems stoping the show, will search the aveneu. of purching the home 7 software (minus the sound dongle) other alt is to have one of my computer savy friends get the update and downloade it to a flash to install on my comp thanks for the help everone :lol: :lol:

Are you sure you don't run viruses or spywares?

:mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: THE ROAD TO SUCESS IS PAVED WITH FAILURE KEEP WALKING, back again most issues were brought up,tried to check out, running avg free,spybot,windows defender, trying to install on new computer,AMD 64 AthlonX2 Ge Force 6100,400g of hard drive ,2 gig of ram 2 gig processor speed ,creative Extreme Fidelity X-FI sound card,vista OS antec 900 gaming case cd/dvd/lightscribe burner , Have home 6 installed,tried using mozillia fire fox to down load up date ,when going thru cycle of downloading and opening ziped file windows explorer stops working :mrgreen: a folder is set up in my documents (properties say it 315 files/21 folders size on disc 68.2mb size 67.6 mb) open up folder , double click on one file the most set up is the desk top short cuts double click on that and a error comes up saying bad command, ready to go on the shoulder of the road to get the up date to see if its what i want, lime wire has somthing labled and looks to be the same size dont feel like trying that ,thought about getting one of my computer savys to down loaded it to a flask drive to try to install ,why ,frustration

You can try to boot in safe mode (but with network adapters), to do this simply press F8 after the bios prompt (and before windows is booting).

:rolleyes: Well think its a issue with comp,tried to even down load the free demo same thing happens windows explore stops working part way thru the extrack process ,have started inquries thru the 5 star support fourm, thanks for your time,patience,will come back when i have solved this issue,this has become more of a challenge than the goal that it started out as, :cool: :cool: KEEP THE BEAT FLUID..
