[SOLVED] cant get it to work

hi,
i just wanted to know, how to get cds n vinyls to control the songs on the mixvibes programs. I don't think its normal, for everythin is plugged in and installed. when i play a regular cd or vinyl the sound comes out fine. But when i use time coded cd or vinyl i just get i highpitched ringing or beeping sound. I looked at the faq, n tried to sort out the ground connection, but i dnt think it was that. When i just press play on the program, i can hear the song clearly though my speakers. With the time coded disks, it doesnt affect the interface of the prgram in any way....

the highpitched ring sound you here is the sound of the time code signal ......click off the by-pass button and click on the vinly button
to use time code vinly
( some sound card you have to go to the sound card driver panel and mute the in-puts to stop the highpitch ring )
by the look of your config report you have two problems

it should be at 6 or 7 ms

Speed Average(100ms)=0.000 Speed Average(1s)=0.000 Speed Average(3s)=0.000
2)...you don't have any time code signal percent
you should have 98 to 100% signal
I don't know if thats because you had the bypass button on or because you had not had the time code vinly running when you did the config report

Are you able to play a track without external control ?
You should run the install wizard ? This should automatically mute the inputs.

Ive manged to get everything to play now by usin the tt and the cdj, but i still have a ring when i play the music. When i run the install wizard, it tells me on the second page that my lattency is 256. Where else can you change the lattency apart from U46MKII control pannel? I reinstalled the control panel with the vista version so it works now, but when i change the lattency with it, it crashes, and i have to restart it.

which driver version are you using ?
you should MUTE the inputs in your U46 control pannel to eliminate the high pitch sound

it was the u46mkII control pannel that was giving off the ring. I really appreciate the help, the prgram works a treat now!
