[SOLVED] Sound Problems

I have just installed DVS Pk Mk2. I have played around with my settings with no success.

It often plays well then every so often it sounds as if the needle is dirty. The needle if fine and my system should be capable for doing what i want.

Is it possible that my stylus & cartridge may not be suitable? I use Stanton 680s as i dont do much scratching.

Setup:
EeePC901
Technics 1210s

Here it is :)

hi abernard, which U46 driver version are you using. It sounds like you need to update with version 1.039 (available in the download center). please make sure you deinstall the present version first. Hope this helps :D

Have you checked on all your background services ? DO you deactivate anti-virus, fire-wall etc ? If the sound is altered periodically only for a shirt moment this is possibly a background service taht is giving MV a hard time.

the advice i constantly give to DJs who want to get serious about reliability os to install a dedicated Windows partition just for MixVibes and then follow on optimization tutorial to make Windows as light as possible. Unfortunately PCs are always clogged by background activity !
