I don't think you have enough in-puts & out-puts on the mixvibes u46 mk2 to do this
you need a sound card that has 6 in-puts & 6 out-puts

1...you plug a set of RCA cables from the mixers outputs { rec out put } to the spear inputs on your sound card { in-put 5 & 6 }

2...open a third deck in mixvibes

3...drag & drop the audio in-puts {in-puts 5 & 6 } from the mixvibes explorer window

4....click on play button on the third deck

5...open the main volume rack...set the rec volume & click on the rec button when you are ready to rec your set

6...choose a location and make a file for you to record you set to
mix set will be recorded as a WAV file...

Hello,

I've read and tested how I should be able to record with my U46MK2,
But it doesn't show its spare outputs :'( (output 5 & 6)

Could someone please help me ASAP?
I've put a photo here:

I've got mixvibes Producer 7.

Greetz,

DJCB

Hi DjCb,

The u46mk2 soundcard has 6 outputs and 4 inputs, it is not possible to record your mixes as well as using vinyl/cd timecode control.

it is possible to record via the input on your internal soundcard.

are you using vinyl/cd control with an external mixer?

I'm using a Reloop RMP-20 mixer (2 channels) with 2 Denons CD/MP3 players called Denon DN S1000.
BTW: Then what can I use my spare 5 and 6 outputs on my U46 MK2 for?

if you had a 3 channel mixer you could use out-puts 5 & 6
for the mixvibes sampler....or if you ran Mixvibes DVS and another music software ( DWS ...like Ableton or Sonar ) at the same time
you can use 5 & 6 for that......
because you only have a two channel mixer ...you can only use it for another set of headphonos

And it really isnt possible to record the 2 channels with mixvibes self than 1 channel at a time? Or cant there be a patch which makes it possible to record the 2 channels with mixvibes self, like in Virtual DJ, or Scratch Live?

But if i only use 1 cd player.... Then it is possible for me to record right? As the software allows me to use 2 in one deck by pressing the tab button right?
