Track selection using Vinyl?

Postby ko1N on 05 Oct 2008, 17:54

I'm curious if this feature actually exists within MixVibes...
It's announced on the V2B Vinyl page that the Vinyl consists of multiple "rings" as they can be noticed on the vinyl itself. Some of these may be used for track selection is stated, too.

I couldn't really figure out how/where this feature is located and how it works? I'm just a bit curious if this actually works, so any help would be nice.

I don't know if this is related to the problem but I'm posting my configuration report:

i use mv 7.100 and "track selection" works like butter: it´s labeled on one side only, it´s the last selection of grooves on the vinyl and it will only work in there! if you put your needle down in the track selection area, you can scroll thru your mediabase and select a track, if then you lift up your tonearm and put it on the beginning of your record - the selected track will start to play!!

warum benutzt du asio4all als treiber: "Device=ASIO4ALL v2 AsioVersion=0 DriverVersion=2" ??!

Well i tried out every section of the Vinyl but it just plays back the current song (inside of each section it is played 1 time from the beginning). Is there an option to enable this feature that I may forgot?

Best regards, Patrick.

The track selection is located at the end of the B-side. Did you try there too?

Thanks, it works now. Maybe I've just overlooked the inner ring and just read "track selection" on the vinyl so it didn't work when i tested it first.

I may test Asio against the MixVibes U64MKII Driver and leave you a message.

Best regards, Patrick.
