Hi everyone,
I have problems when playing mixvibes DVS mk2 in windows vista. I need clear instructions about what i have to do to install everything.
I have install mixvibes, after that I install the last ESI U46DJ v1.039. Then, I install the ASIO ALL v2. But when i play the mixvibes it does not sound well. Also, when i run the wizard, sometimes , the computer gets locks, and i need to unplug it to restart it.
I know i,m doing something wrong because this is normal.
Thank you.

Hi ,
You need to make a choise !
Use U46DJMK2 drivers or ASIO4ALL drivers but not both at the same time... Uninstall both , and install only one of them .
Make a reset of mixvibes ( reset.exe in the MV directory) and restart the settings of your mixvibes.
Bye.
Mode Standby = On : Waiting Linux version ;)

Hi,
I have try to install only de ASIO ALL v2 and the mixvibes says that there is not an Asio driver, so the computer gets lock when continiouing with the configuration. I also tried to install only the U46MK2 v1.035 and the mixvibes plays a "piiiiiii" sound while playing the songs.
can it be a problem with my laptop?? it is an hp, but it has 2gb Ram, 1.8 processor core duo.

What you heard is the time code signal. Shut down the monitor outputs to remove it from the speakers.

you should definetely be using driver 1.039, its much better... what happens when you try to install the driver ? the installer doesn't work or its MixVibes that doesn't detect the ASIO driver ?

What happens it that when I open the install wizard in mixvibes it says that the ASIO Driver is not installed. Then When I selects the ASIO ALL v2, the computer gets lock.

Hi,
Just one thing i did not mention. I,m using an external mixer, and two turntable.
If I mute the outputs, then I may not listen to the music in the speakers, may I?

what you ar supposed to mute is the INPUTS of your sound interface. You must go into the U46 control pannel (the icon is in the windows system tray) and mute the monitor on the two inputs.
please note that you must only have one ASIO driver installed at a time. de-install before reinstalling. I advise you go for the 1.39 until you figure out the problem...
