Hi, i have the same problem - i use MixVibes Pro 6.411 and laptop with Vista Home Premium. Everything is ok with Windows Media Player, but when i use MixVibes i can hear audio files but i see no videos. If i load mpeg files, MixVibes reports an error and shuts the programme down. I tried MixVibes Pro 6.411 with my PC Windows XP - and it works perfectly. Please advice which codecs i might need to use MixVibes with Vista Home Premium.
I installed “Service Pack 1” for Vista and I installed the latest “K-Lite codec pack”, updated “MixVibes Pro 6.411” to “Producer 7.1” but Mixvibes doesn't play video anyway. I read at your site that MixVibes Producer should work ok with “Windows Vista + Service Pack 1”.
SO WHY IN MY CASE MIXVIBES Producer REFUSES TO WORK PROPERLY???
Please advice what I am to do: - perhaps I should upgrade “Vista Home Premium” to “Vista Ultimate”? - or install some other codecs? - or perhaps I should not worry and wait for a new version of “MixVibes Producer”?
for the moment, Producer is optimized to play mpeg files (new video engine is coming soon ), try to play other mpeg video files, your mpeg file could have encoding issues.

I switched crossfader off because i use real mixer (ecler)

How are you going to mix the video image together without the crossfader in mixvibes turned on ....your ecler 360 mixer will only do the audio not the video..
